Swingin’ Clientele
The Swingin’ Clientele is the group of dancers that I’m in. We’re not an official group, no official membership, audition, or anything of that nature. We’re a group of friends who support each other and who dance as much as we can. We’ve also created out own dance routine called the C-Hop (Clientele Hop). I’m sure you’ll hear about it soon enough.
Here’s a mini description of several of the Clientele members.
Emily Stadnik
Emily is my awesome dance partner. She joined us in the end of March, 2008, where she went dancing back-to-back, going from Lindy Groove to Do Something Blue. She quickly became friends with all of is, and her dancing speaks for itself.
Jake Canon
Jake is one of the only “originals”, as he was there when the group formed in March-April of 2007. He was the first of us to get into the Advanced Class at Lindy Groove. Incredible at Lindy Hop and Blues dancing, better take a step back and watch if a Hip Hop dance song comes on.
Jake is also the proud owner of Herbie.
Allison Nishimura
Allison joined our group shortly after meeting Jake at Paseo, Dancing Under the Stars in 2007. She has been core to the Swingin’ Clientele for quite some time and is widely thought of as one of the best follows in our group.
She is also the proud owner of the cutest VW in existence.
Logan Gloor
We met Logan in Fall of 2007 and quickly became friends and was an excellent addition to Swingin’ Clientele. He is one of the best leads in our group and can be seen dancing to pretty much any music, whether it’s slow or fast Swing, Blues, Salsa, and so on.
Logan has a curiosity in everything and will be found to have a lot of knowledge in various subjects. He has helped plan for many events and was the leader of our team in the 24hr Cancer Dance-A-Thon.
Gina Miranda
Gina and her vibrant red hair was introduced to the group by Logan. She learned faster than anyone I have seen, learning Blues and Swing simultaneously and being envied by many after a few short months.
She and Logan have been together and are the cutest couple you have ever seen.
Katrina Soelter
Katrina was with Allison when met at Paseo in the summer of 2007. Unfortunately, she had to leave for college shortly after, and wasn’t introduced into the group until December.
She has perfect tension as well as being able to add a flow and hip hop style to her blues that makes her unique and amazingly fun to dance with. While she went to Germany for six months she was sorely missed.
